Mission Statement

We are committed to building a network of conservationists through outdoor education and recreation.

Our Core Values

Nature Advocacy: There is no us without this planet, so we're committed to restoring and protecting it. As people living in the United States, we acknowledge that this land belongs to the indigenous people, who still work to protect and advocate for sustainable land management.

Intentionally Inclusive: Everyone is welcome here. We embrace diversity in race, ethnicity, age, gender, orientation, identity, ability, and class. The outdoors have a history of being predominantly white and male, so we work to make sure the outdoors feels accessible to everyone else. While diversity in thoughts and opinions are welcomed, thoughts and opinions that invalidate others lived experience are not. We support and prioritize the physical and emotional safety of our participants and center respecting their humanity and right to live on their own terms. There will be physical limitations, but we're committed to keeping you informed and being as accommodating as we can.

Holistic Prospective: We embrace who/where you come from, who you've been, who you are, and who you'll become.

Community Collaboration: Everyone has a place in community. Share or find yours.

Peer Led: There is so much that we can learn in group settings from hearing and sharing with one another. This is a community where the students are the teachers.
